Al Davis is fucking nuts

Conceptually wrong from the very begining, but it ain’t gonna stop the all new College Footbal picks with JP Falcon…the zomg shiny vampire edition
September 30, 2008
So there’s this new hot property out there called Twilight about some kid who moves to a new town falls in love with a vampire, and marries it has it’s kid and there’s also sparkly vampire on human sex. Why does this come up in this column? Well i need something to rail against this week, so christian morality tales that double as sparkly vampire teenage love stories are what we hate here at the Falcon household this week. [Read more]
Week 4 Pick ‘em Standings
September 29, 2008
We are now a quarter of the way through the NFL season for most of the teams concerned, and JP is still holding a 5 game edge over myself. Jake and I both tied for the week win again, as we did last week. It was also the worst week we’ve had from a guest selector, which is understandable, because my mom was picking and she does not know much about the football. Here are the Week 4 standings:
Sean: 9-4 -
Jake: 9-4 -
JP: 8-5 -
Guest (Lisa King): 4-9 -
So, four weeks into our Pick ‘em challenge, here’s how we stand:
JP: 38-21-1 .633 -
Sean: 33-26-1 .550 5GB -
Jake: 31-28-1 .517 7GB -
Guest: 28-31-1 .467 10GB -
Congratulations to Jake for finally eclipsing the .500 mark, and a harsh for shame to our guest selectors for allowing yourselves to drop under the .500 mark!
Tune in Wednesday at 8:30 pm central time for our week 5 picks, along with a myriad of other subjects on The King’s Court!
Sunday Night Football sorta live blog: The wrap up
September 28, 2008
uhm, let’s see Philly is desperatly missing Brian Westbrook, theres no doubt he would have gotten over the goaline.
Kyle Orton is defintly getting into the Jack tonight, and hopefully on the internet in random pictures by the end of the week.
Man I’m happy I quit eating fast food, and that includes wendy’s.
Sorry guys i got nothing good, check us out next week, for the bevy of pith.
Sunday Night Football sorta live blog: Well that was craptastic
September 28, 2008
What a terrible third quater, fumbles, interceptions, the fear of another Buckhalter knee injury. Simply terrible, if it wasn’t for Hester’s attempted hurdleing of the kicker, I would have changed the channel.
On a side note if it wasn’t for the fact that my oppenant managed to start 4 people that didn’t even play ,I’d be having a fit over my fantasy team.
Sunday Night Football sorta live blog: The first half has kind of been like an Open bar for Kyle Orton
September 28, 2008
That’s right Deadspin hall of famer, and resident favorite quarterback of The King’s court has been attacking this game like it was a marble facade holding various spirts captive. The first quater was good for him, just like that first beer and a shot you take when you hit the open bar, it pays off you get confidence your tossing touchdowns it’s all good. But that second quarter is much like the after affects of too much confidence you tackle the tequila shot, you start tossing picks, you start hitting on women, you fumble at the end of the half, you bag the chick that’s coming up on 2 bills if she hits the free mini weinies again…plain and simple it’s no bueno.
Olberman, and Patrick almost cancel out Collinsworth, just almost.
Man Anquan Bolden shouldn’t have asked for his bike back from Debo.
Noticably absent from the super bowl halftime montage is Prince’s Gigantic cock of death. Oh, and NBC’s little breaking of the Springsteen Halftime performance was broken over a month ago.
See you kids after the 3rd.
Sunday Night Football sorta live blog: Uhm
September 28, 2008
I some how missed the entire first quater, but hey the Simpsons were decently funny, what with Homer getting involved in a wacky scheme of some sort. Also, I’m pretty sure something happened on King of the Hill that involved Hank getting frustrated, and i think random pop culture references are flying on Family Guy right about now.
Coming tonight the Sunday Night Football sorta live blog

Tonights game features the Philidelphia Eagles in Chicago to play the bears. I’m setting the odds of Al Micheals using the phrase “Touchdown gaffe” when talking about Desean Jackson at 1-2.
